The Donald Ross Junior Championship

The Donald Ross Junior Championship was established in 1947 as a memorial to famed Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross. Every December, more than 200 high school boys and girls come to Pinehurst to compete for this coveted title.

his year for the high school boys it was contested on Pinehurst’s No. 4 and No. 5 courses.

Quin shot an excellent one-under-par (71) on No. 4 and then a respectable 75 on No. 5.  This added up to an 11th place finish in a strong multi-state field.
